Today is Day 0 of our Blue Australorps incubation!

These are the first generation from our Splash rooster crossed over Black hens. We have pictures of our crossbreeds, but this will be our first group of purebred Australorps.

Incubator is a Magicfly 12, forced air incubator.
    Temp - 99.5 Humidity - 35%

We set 6 eggs, and we’re keeping any pullets who may hatch. :) I’m so excited!

I’m going to do daily candlings after Day 3. :) I want them to get a good start and most of the time nothing shows up on the camera the first couple of days.

I’ll use this post to show the candlings as they progress.
