Lucky is a Silver Appleyard. She is 3 weeks old, and will triple in size!

Quote:Wow, I just googled that breed and they are gorgeous! Did you hatch her yourself or order her from somewhere? I'd like to get a few ducks in the spring and I'd like a varied flock.

She was the only one that hatched out of 18 eggs that I incubated. I think I could have had 2, but I got to them too late. So far she isn't scared of anything, and peeps like crazy when she hears my daughter! I'm hoping to add some friends for her in the spring. I'd like to order from Holderreads, but I can't handle the min. amount (I think 10). I also like the hookbills. Anything that is a bit different is my 1st choice!
