    Lurked here for a few months. We have just over 6 acres. Three of that is heavily wooded. We have 3 horses and 6 BSL hens.
    Never had chickens before, so it has been interesting. Got our first egg yesterday. Thanks for all the great info on here.

I've raised Black Sex Links for years and they are hardy and friendly, egg laying machines. They have consistently been my best layers over the years. You are going to get loads more eggs from them.
