Lyon Econo candler orCool-light hand held candler

Does anyone have experience with the Lyon Econo candler or Cool-light hand held candler?

Do they work with brown eggs?

I have a Cool-lite, but it doesnt work any better on brown or blue eggs than anything else. Ive had my best luck candling with a small bright LCD flashlight.
