Maggie and Rose Petail or not? Curled tail feather?

My two new Magpie Ducklings are now 9 weeks and the their voices sound a bit gravelly. Was hoping for hens? refresh my memory at what age do the curled drake tail feathers show up? Also, they appear to be molting. Don't remember the other ducks molting this young. They just got their feathers!

Usually 4-6 months on the tail feather, They will molt several times before getting their adult feathers. I have 3- 7 week olds and they are losing their fluff and getting their feathers.
