Make or Female??

Hi, I'm new to chickens and loving them!

I received two supposedly Cochin/Silkie mixes last week. They are 12 weeks old and are supposed to be female, but I've got my doubts. I'm confident the chicken with the black around her neck is a pullet, but the chicken with the black head looks different. "Her" comb is larger and more red. "She" also has a developing wattle that I do not see in the other. "She" is also a bit larger in size.

What do you think? I'm hoping my hunch is wrong and the black-headed chicken is just developing more quickly. I can't have a rooster! Thanks!

The comb size and color along with the darker red patches on the wings would indicate, to me, that the bird in question is a cockerel.

I agree, the 'girl' on the left is a cockerel for sure. His comb is larger and redder, not to mention the crest.
