Makeing a feeder

    Hi, i want a esier way to feed my chickens i want to build a chicken feeder but i need ideas and tips:frow

    i mean i dont want to be feeding my 6 bantams every morning before i go to school.I saw some feeders at a feed store but i dont want to waist money:confused:

    Well i wouldnt say a feeder for bantams is wasting money but if you looking for a cheaper way that would involve some custom work. You want your birds to have easy access but not something like a flat pan or bowl that theyll tip over or scratch all the food out all over the ground. There was another posting about a PVC pipe feeder. It looks easy and cheap:) Otherwise a 1-2 gal feeder for 12-14$ at a farm store.....Good luck!
