Making a home made incubator

I'm a complete rookie and just starting my adventure in raising chickens. I want to start out by hatching my own chickens. I'm looking for advice on what everyone else has found to be the best way to go for a homemade incubator. Would an aquarium work well?

An aquarium will work for a brooder, but for a bator you want to go with something insulated to hold the heat, like a cooler or styrofoam box.
