making pumkin pie from scratch but I have a question....

My pie crust is still in dough form resting in the fridge but rather than making one big pie can I make a bunch of little ones in muffin tins? its just ds and I and having a bunch of small ones will allow me to freeze some for later

Yes. Every Christmas I make several hundred at work. Baking time will be shorter. keep a close eye on them

ETA- Make sure you grease and flour the tins very well. You don't want them stuck in the tins.

That would be a good idea. Pumpkin freezes pretty good too. Eat one for me, pumpkin is my favorite.

Yes you can make the small ones, but if the tins are taller than the pie pan you may want to watch the baking time closely to insure the centers get done.
