It is occurring between my eldest hand raised female Welsh Harlequin duck and my only drake. They seem to be practicing some courtship rituals which I found interesting as he has been mating with his four females for some time now. Welsh Harlequins are not known to be broody ducks, but this female did sit on a clutch and hatch one last year. They both have been attacking my very peaceful male turkey that is their guard turkey, to keep the eagles out. They run up to him and sort of hit him from behind with their head and neck, sometimes they chase him. I believe they are also chasing the docile rooster.
