Hi everyone.

I just read an article discussing the mechanics of drake sexual anatomy. Specifically, they were talking about how the drake's penis withers off at the end of each breeding season, and regrows in the spring. Is this true?! Is it true only for wild drakes, or for domestic drakes as well? Thanks.

As the article is a bit explicit, I don't feel comfortable posting it in a family environment. I will be happy to PM it to any one interested in seeing the information.

It's not true that the penis withers and then regrows. However testes do get smaller outside the breeding season and then they enlarge again once breeding time rolls around.
