    Hi,

Last year, my male Welsh Harlequin had phallus prolapse. He had treatment of antibiotics, painkillers, and removal of the necrotic tissue. The remaining penis went back in successfully. He is a healthy boy and doing great. He still goes through the motions of mating, but I wonder if he is able to breed. I'd like to breed him with my Khaki Campbell next Spring
Has anyone had success with breeding a duck that lost part of his penis after prolapse?

    Thank you!

I just talked to a very knowledgeable member here who was telling me about her Muscovy drake that had this happen and has gone on to father many off spring so yep you will have ducklings next spring. Glad to hear it went well for him. And Welcome to BYC [IMG]
