Male or female Cuckoo Maran

I just got 3 new chicks, one of them being a cuckoo maran. Now I'm reading that the ones with a large dot ont heir head are most likely males, it got me worried. Can someone tell from this picture of it looks like a male or a female.
The one in the middle with a rather large white spot is the Maran.

I don't know that the size of the dot has anything to do with gender. Wait a few more weeks for him/her to develop and then post another picture.
