Male or Female Muscovy duck?

This is Bear, I believe he/she is 3ish months old (Hatched early-mid August I believe) I cant tell if its female or male..I'm really hoping female

I would wait until week 16/17 for the caruncle growth as that is the easiest way. At week 16/17 the males grow the caruncle which is 4 months so one more month left to go. At week 20 (5 months) the females start to grow their smaller caruncles

I agree that it is too young to tell.
However, I have a pretty strong feeling that this duckling is a male.

I had a terrible time sexing mine. I was newish to ducks and had no clue since they don’t get the curly tail feather like in other breeds. But tail shape and the sounds they make can help. Boys have a wide tail (think beaver) and the girls have a pointy tail. Also boys hiss (like a dog after running) and girls make a trilling like a pigeon. But might be too soon for sounds.

Do you have others that are the same age? You could compare body size and feet size.

I dont have any other muscovys unfortunately but I do have some adult call ducks that it mingles with if that helps

I would say Drake based on size. But it may be a big girl.

Does the tail come to a point or more fanned out? I don't see much for wing feather development so I would guess male.

MY BABIES WHEN I FIRST GOT THEM. I BELIEVE A MALE AND TWO FEMALES. THEY ARE SUCH BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS OMG. I LOVE DUCKS ALMOST MORE THAN MY CHICKENS. ALMOST...LOL. HMMMM WONDER IF WE CAN MAKE A DUCKEN...LMAOOO
