    11 1/2 weeks old. I have two and they began fighting today[​IMG]

    To be honest
    I really am not sure about whether it's a hen or rooster,
    Silkies are one of those breeds that are hard to tell
    If there male or female untill atleast 4 months
    Maybe someone else might know

    My guess is boy since it has a comb so early. You might want to try posting on the silkie thread for confirmation. :)

    I would guess make because of comb and the way the feathers on head seem to be laying towards the back.

    That much comb at this young age is cockerel.

    I know I said befour I am not sure what it is.
    The more I look at the picture I think rooster.
    The Silkie you have
    Looks like it has a roosters body shape
    So now I think it's a rooster
