This chicken is around 17 weeks old, it’s a Warren cross breed. It’s a friends bird and I’m not too sure about it’s gender. Is it a girl or boy? Thank you

Is that a type of sexlink?

Warrens are a hybrid - appear to be a red sex link. If this bird is a Warren, it is a for sure cockerel. If it is a Warren cross bred, the 'for sure' goes away, but I still think that it is a cockerel.

That's what I was leaning towards, but i know sexlink can have giant combs for females.

A warren CROSS bred would not be sex linked still, if understand the post correctly that only one parent was Warren.
