Male or Female

    We just recently got into chickens in our backyard and are becoming fast learners. Any guesses as to the sex of this bird? We have at least one other roo from "guaranteed females." Oh well.

    Also, it is about 2-3 months old.
    What is X2? Is that like /agree?

    Yeah, "X2" means, I agree.

    But I don't; looks more like a pullet to me. EE's are difficult, though, I had one I called a pullet til I caught it crowing. THEN he grew saddle and hackle feathers that I could identify.

    I have a 15 week old Easter Egger (EE) that looks very much like this. I'm still not convinced of it's sex as it has not crowed or laid an egg yet. I still have "pullet hope", so I'm leaning more toward pullet for you too. Welcome to BYC!
