So, I've got this bantam cochin. For a while I was convinced it was a boy, but now his/her brother is at least twice his/her size. I've also compared pictures of male bantam cochins to the one I have, and I'm just not sure anymore. It's still young, and makes chirping noises, so there's no crowing to give it away. Could someone take a look and give their opinion? Do you think it's a male or a female? I can provide more pictures if need be.

Thanks a bunch! I've also been wondering about his color pattern. When his feathers first started coming in, I thought he might be barred, but now I'm leaning more towards birchen or maybe silver penciled. I was hoping to show him, and I'd like to know what pattern fits best. I'm obviously very new with chickens, so any help would be appreciated.
