Male or female?

    I think that I've got a roo.[​IMG] I got RIR chicks this year from Orscheln's (just run of the mill RIR not Heritage reds). I had been noticing that one hen was starting to look funny, feathers different from the others, longer legs, thinner in the neck, and longer than the others. also tail feathers starting to look like the beginnings for a rooster tail. Here are some pics it would be great if I could get your opinions on what it is.

    I think that he is near the 4 month age if my memory is right.

    I agree, a male. If he is 4 months old it won't be long before you hear a funny crow.
