    Hi guys,

Had seven chicks hatch, fairly certain the barred looking one is a male, possibly the lightest one too. I got given the eggs so they could be a mixture of anything, not concerned on the breed to be honest just on which are pullets. They're just over six weeks old and I've fallen in love with one who went through a bad spell but has pulled through.. Really hoping it's a she.. It has a darker comb but dainty legs and isn't so upright like the one I believe is a cockerel. So hard to tell, especially when I'm hoping for a pullet.

Chick 1 - the favourite.. Will be sad to see this one go as its so attached to me.

    Chick 2 - the cockerel 99%sure!

    Chick 3 - also cockerel?

    Chick 4 - black pullet?

    Chick 5 - cockerel?

Chick 6 and 7 - pullets? They look very similar so I'm assuming they will be the same.

Sorry, but that first bird looks like a little cockerel. That much comb this young is telling of gender.

Other than that, 4, 6 and 7 are pullets. The rest are cockerels.

Agreed that 4,6, and 7 look like your only pullets.
