Male or Females???

    I got these chicks back in sept and was informed they were five weeks old at the time. The person who gave them to me told me she didn't know if they were male or females, but her child told my daughter that three of them are roosters. I don't care if they are I would just like to know what they are. There are three striped ones and one that is all black. I'm thinking the black one is a hen but not sure its a guess. Any help would be great.

    Hi all can anyone help me sex these little ones? They will be three and half months old the 10 of Nov. When I got them the kid told my daughter that three of them are rooster's.

    5 weeks old in Sept? They would be under 10 weeks old. I don't think so... Even if they are boys.. Look at how red those combs are. They are redder than my 4 month old BR roo.

    The black looks like a pullet for sure.. but I still think they are over 10 weeks old.

    3 months??? If those are barred rock mixes they are definitely looking roo-ish. These are my pullets at 4 months. Note how small the comb is (she was pretty average for our flock):
