Male to female ratio

I currently have two mallards, a male and a female. I'm going to get two more Welsh Harlequins. Should they both be female, so it's three hens to one drake, or does it matter?

The Harlequins should be female. To many drakes to one female is not good.
You will more get more eggs too.

Drakes do well with two too six hens...At this time I have two hens per Drake and it is going well. I Free range all my Ducks together and for now the Drakes get along for the most part...

Yes there is, I think it's 1 drake to 4 to 5 hens. You're welcome!
