malformed egg

    This is the strangest egg yet from one particular hen. Her eggs are often misshapen, but this one takes the cake. Any idea what is causing this, or if there are any remedies for it?

    It looks like a balled up piece of bread!

    That is by far the MOST interesting egg I have ever seen!

    If it's not a calcium issue, I don't know what's causing that.

    My husband thought it was a walnut! I have no idea what might be causing it, but it's sure interesting. Are the eggs normal on the inside?

    Did this hen come from a hatchery and is about 2 years old?

    SpeckledHen started noticing a trend, and I've seen more and more of it, even experieced it with one hen.

    One of those things that make you go "Hmmm...."
