He's a house duck mallard I rescued. Use to be a total sweety. He's only 4 months old and has his drake colors. He still loves to follow me around and plops next to me when I sit and watch TV. However, anytime I move near him or have to pick up his poo near him he gets shakey and bites me... Pretty hard too. The oddest thing is sometimes he grabs hold of his chest and bites down on it... I would rather him bite me than his chest...
No females around too so I doubt it's a mating thing. I have a female but she stays in the other room far away because she would try to attack him.
How do I tame him? Is this a phase that Needs to run it's course?
