This a picture of Susie, our new little yard-guest. I don't know if she is a mallard (the people who had her said she was, but then, they also said the feed store said she was a Pekin!) She is tiny little thing, and I have not heard her quack as yet, so I'm thinking she may be a grey call. What do you think?

If they got her from the feed store then she's a Mallard. And looks like she has severe Angel Wing.
If she was a grey call she would be LOUD!!!

Yes, she does have angel wing. I am giving her niacin to see if that will help, and I wanted to let her get adjusted to her new surroundings before taping her wing.

    Purebred mallards are quite small.

The chances of buying a Call duck from the feed store are less than zero.
