I've assisted plenty. Actually 2 this morning. I usually just chip away shell and put them back in and they finish themselves. I've gone too far in the past and there's unabsorbed yolk so I try to wait it out. This morning I chipped away the 3 chicks. There were some blood vessels on this one, I put them all back and the two hatched out on their own. This one I chipped a little more away earlier this evening and still see blood. It's head is under it's wing. Is that where it belongs? If not, does that cause it to be unable to zip and does that cause it to not peck at and stop blood vessels or something (I can't even word this). I'm gonna leave it I guess until tomorrow morning, I can't assist and it bleeds to death.
