Mama did it!

    Our 9-month-old Black Australorp went over the edge into broodiness, so we got 6 eggs for her to sit on. She hatched all, with one dying mid-zip for some reason. They are so cute!

    She's actually very sweet. Hasn't pecked or protested much when I reach underneath her. But whenever someone or something comes near her she puffs up and growls [​IMG] Didn't keep the other Australorp from laying eggs on her head since she was brooding in their favorite nest.
