[Can chickens eat mammoth sunflower seeds?

I would think so.. I have also been wondering as I planted a 30x200 ft patch of them this year. They seem to lake the heads that I have given mine so far. Hope someone else chimes in, I will be watching

My bigger chickens will eat them whole, bantams just seem to ignore them, I have seem some chickens peck them around until they cracked them up and I assume eat the seed only. They all seem to like the regular black oil ones better though.
