He got in trouble for misrepresenting his work. In one of the pilot episodes you can see his life jacket UNDER his shirt.

There are voiceovers to let you know when he's received help from the crew.

Some of his adventures seem like one long trek, but sometimes there's a hotel involved for part ot the time.

I miss Survivorman.

DBF gets so mad whenever the people on those shows eat bugs, animals, dead stuff... etc.

Yep he's a sham! I love it when he's hunting or fishing and doesn't get anything so his production crew gives him gives him some.

Survivorman at least set up (mostly) realistic situations for himself, and he didn't bite the heads off of snakes.

He'd eat bugs, but then again, most world cultures eat bugs.

Survivor man lost me when his safety crew came in while his raft was drifting out in the ocean and a storm was comming. They took him to a protected cove for the night then set him adrift again in the morning.

That one was kind of lame. It would be pretty dumb, however, to die for a tv show.

I hate those types of shows , they are dangerous to children watching them.
The programs that involve such content are banned from my house.
Notice how Channels that used to cover documentarys have now gone on to stupid plots for people doing stupid or dangerous things?

Where have all the animals gone?
