Mandarin Ducks

Hi I have a few questions about Mandarin ducks. If I order a pair of Mandarin duck will I get 1 male and 1 female so I can breed them? My second question is can I keep them with 42 chickens and 2 other ducks witch are kaki cambell female and a indian runner female? My last question is can I keep them in Michigan or will they die? Thanks

Okay firstly it's always reccommend to get mandarins from a breeder, not a hatchery, and even better if its local so they don't go through to much stress of shipping them. Secondly is that no, mandarins are very very very very very small compared to domestic ducks and regular chickens ( similar or smaller than bantam chickens) so u would have to have a total different enclosure for them, and they are ornamental waterfowl so they are much harder to raise than regular ducks go to the ornamental fowl thread and read the mandarin duck thread
