This morning I found my maran just standing in the corner by the watered just kinda in a daze. Didn’t want to eat. When I finished filling feeders I find her sitting in the corner of the coop. I scooped her up & brought her in. She is in and out. She seems to now be breathing hard. She will close hers eyes and I can’t get her to support her own head the she pops up and turns in a circle and sits back down. I gave her nutra drench and a dose of dewormer. Hard to get anything in her.
I recently had my Brahma pass and had a lot of similar symptoms but she passed with in an hour of when I found her sick. What’s going on? I don’t wanna lose this girl too

Husband was supposed to take care of that with the Brahma but apparently I need to take of thing like that cause others apparently don’t around here. If I loose this girl I’m taking care of it myself but I’d really like to get her through. Her breathing has gotten heavier just since I sent that post. I can her her breathing just sitting beside her. Sometimes a little whistle with her breathing

We were slow and steady with the 2. The liquid was clear and I couldn’t get her to take water. She just passed. :( Definitely sending her in. Yellow liquid and brown came out of her mouth when she passed. A lot. She reminded me exactly of my Brahma in the few minutes before with the struggling to breathe and a lot of same symptoms altogether That was rough. She was an awesome hen. And so young

If mareks is the verdict what will become of the rest of my girls?!

My poor daughter had to witness it. She was a school last time but she was here this time and refuses to leave any sick animal. Even though she knows she might see something she doesn’t want to. She 17 so she can handle it she just has an extra big heart for them
