Marans & Olive Egger Hatch

    Some of our first hatchlings! Birchen Marans and Olive Eggers. My hens have no interest in hatching their own, but this was great to watch!

    nice birds. my maran just laid her first egg, my roo is isbar with green egg gene

    the center egg it will be fun to see them breed and what egg their offspring will get.

    So olive egger x marans? You will have to post pics of the eggs those chicks lay! That is one cross I am trying for. Supposed to be a dark olive green from what I've read. Beautiful!

    I am putting these fridge eggs I got from a health food store under my hen after she finishes hatching 2 due tomorrow (pips) they are heating in incubator currently.look at that green one!!!

    They haven't been refrigerated, have they? I like the olive egg! My olive egger Olivia just started laying.

    nope go to fridge egg hatch on backyard chickens you will see many who hatched. here are some of my fridge egg birds. from my fridge or a friends.
