Marans roster id

I bought a Marans rooster and was told by the previous owner he was a blue wheaton.
I guess i am confused as to what makes him a wheaton?

Thanks for the replies. Kinda what i thought but was not sure. I have no idea why he was calling him a Blue wheaton marans.
