Hi my vet is ordering me The vaccine for Mareks, she is not sure what it is called can anyone help..
Hi Tracy the Chick
Here are some links that may help you and your vet.... They are USA centric I imagine, but may help you out.
http://www.firststatevetsupply.com/content/view/17/37/ -- FYI - some discrepancy - some sites say that the wafer cannot be divided because the virus is not equally distributed on the wafer
Of course you cannot order from the states---but it may help your vet pin it down.
I tried to get some flubenvent (I think that is the UK broad spectrum wormer used over there---) and I couldn't get it across the pond. ;O)
Hi thank you, if you ever want flubenvet send me a private message and ill send you some.. i pay about £15.00 and shipping is about the same...Tracy...
I was reading an article about Mareks and it said that the vaccine used in the UK and Europe is: CV1988, while here in the USA it is HVT (which is 'herpes virus turkey')
