    Got 3 baby buffs yesterday.
is there a way that I can mark them to tell them apart? Nail pollish on a to?
    Something?

I put nail polish on my favorite [IMG] Just be quick about it so the won't have to breath in the fumes long.
I've heard of some people cutting up different color bread ties and wrapping it around the chick's leg. I don't know how well that would stay on though

Kool Aid or food dye works well, and there aren't any nail polish fumes or zip or bread ties that have to be checked often. For the barred birds, you might have to give them a good dose, like a whole wing, so its easily visible. But the white ones can just have a smear on the back of their heads.
If you want to get fancy, you could order some leg bands (which need to be checked, so they don't get tight and cause problems) or wing bands (which never need to be checked and identify the bird by number permanently).

    Good luck.
