MARON HENS - NON LAYERS

I have two Maran hens running with a Maran cock all from Eggs hatched easter 2008. My problem is that I have yet to get a single egg, was expecting them to start in October 2008 to no avail. They are in a Ark and I am feeding them on Layers Pellets and scraps - Am I expecting too much or doing something wrong?

Do you mean Marans? If so, they start laying later than some breeds. Mine are not laying yet either. Patience

I have 2 marans hens that are about the same age of yours and still no eggs. In good time.

I hatched out 9 cuckoo marans hens in may I believe it was and just got my first egg day befor yesterday..Late starters but some big ol' first eggs
