There once was a guinea keet named marsha, she had a keet friend named bill. One day she and bill were free ranging next to the silkies, when suddently a huge brown and black dog attacked them.

marsha ducked into some tall grass, but billy didn't make it. :(

he was killed by the big bad dog. Marsha was really sad. her owner (me) put her into a brooder together with a hen and her two chicks. But the hen didn't like marsha.. She came right up to marsha and hurt her head..... :(

So marsha's owner (me.) fixed up a dog kennel for her to live in. during the day she would free range, and at night she would sleep in the kennel.

One day suddently, there were 18 chicks stumbling around the farm. Marsha thought "They must have come from the incubator."

"I better help them around the place." So she did.

And that is how Marsha the guinea adopted 18 chicks....

Four months later they all became bigger...
