    Hi friends,
First time chicken owner here. My hens are about 10 weeks old now and I have some concern that “Martha” may actually be a “Marvin”.

    Americauna

“She” squaks and is pretty aggressive with the others. Especially the Blue Americauna pictured...

I’m just not sure if this behavior is matriarchy or rooster...

I tried to get a couple of pictures, here is the Shared Link with a video.

    Thank you!!

    Easter Egger Cockerel

Unles a bird is labeled as Ameraucana (note the spelling), and labeled as a specific color, it's an Easter Egger.

Dang! I appreciate all of your replies. Unfortunately our county does not allow us to have Roosters...

I was hoping “Marvin” was just being a loud, dominant hen... dang!

..... I feel bad he will have to be taken back, and likely be made dinner :(
