I've been to a billion 4-H fairs/shows and I always assumed they were purely child competitions. But are there similar competitions for adult hobbyists?

Is there already a Massachusetts community/swap meet?

Sorry, I'm new and haven't a clue.

That's extremely helpful, thank you both of you. Great info.

All of this is great information. I've been interested in having chickens, but I've had difficulty finding information for MA. If anybody lives near Boston, I'd love to come and meet your chickens!
