Did anybody else have any issues with meat bird and the cold we got in the Northeast in early May? I received my 100 Cornish X on May 6th and temps went down into the 30's the following weekend and my heat lamps couldn't keep up. I lost 35 of them in 2 days. Down to less than 60, now. Just curious if anybody else had similar issue.

We got down to 36F yesterday in Maine as well. I think almost the whole state had frost warnings. I have 2 week old chicks in an outdoor uninsulated brooder and didn't seem to have a problem though. They were huddled in the morning, but didn't see any mortality. We will see in a couple of weeks if it affected their growth.
