McMurray babies came here at 7am this morning!!

I had a phone call at 7am this morning from the post office...

My husband ran to go get them, (the PO is just 1 mile down the road) while I finished getting ready for work.

The brooder was ready and when he brought them home thier palace was waiting.

Do you know how hard it was being at work all day...knowing they were at home!!! Of course we had Parent Teacher Conferences and I did not leave work till 6!!!

I ordered:

2 Red Frizzled Cochin got 6

4 Mille Fleur Bantam got 5 (2 died)

4 White Silkie Bantam got 4

6 Salmon Fav. got Zero (with a refund gift certificate)

3 Silver Grey Dorkings got 3

6 Silver Penciled Rocks got 6

I am really happy...I think that the other 2 would of made it had the Post Office called me yesterday...but oh well...I am very pleased with McMurray..I ordered 25 recieved 23 alive and a refund on 6....Can not complain!!

The chicks are cute, but what I noticed most was the nice brooder. Did you build that?

My Husband did....he keeps complaining about the chickens....but builds me nice things for them!!

They have plexi to hold in the heat on half of it and hardware cloth on the other side for venting and a coolling side!!
