Mean hen

My Dominques hens are 7 months old and laying well however I have one that in the last week is always in the nesting box when I go out she usually let's me pet her and take the eggs but tonight she pecked me and screamed and screamed after she left the box and continued till I left the area is she broody? I have to admit I don't like it much . It's winter in Ohio but the last week has been unusually warm so maybe she thinks it's spring or is she mad at me lol

How do I get the eggs from her without upsetting her this is my first broody hen.

Possibly broody, but I wouldn't call it definitively that without any additional indicators. IF she is broody, I'd recommend breaking her broodiness unless you plan on having her hatch/raise chicks.

If you just want to grab the eggs, put on gloves and just reach in.
