Meat birds, do you get them as eggs or chicks?

    I get mine as chicks but the local hatchery offers the eggs for sale by the case. (30 dz)

    eggs cost more and they you have to hatch them

    therefore, unless you're doing a science experiment, day old chicks are the only serious option
