What breeds are recommended for high altitude? Barred Rocks and Black Giants did fine, but weren't very large @ freezer time...is there a meat bird breed that would do well at 6200', in a colder climate (w/ plenty of sunshine though...)?

Thanks!

I live at a high altitude and tried raising jumbo Cornish x rocks and that was a complete failure. I will never raise that breed again i bought 75 chicks and ended up with 30. I have raised other heavy breeds like buff orphingtons and i only lost one. Good luck
