Medical Lake (Spokane Wa area) newbie

Hi, just moved to Wa and after leaving my flock of 20 hens in San Diego Ca area about a year ago. I now have a new flock and am thrilled! I am hoping someone has advice on a docile breed of turkey. I have heard they are good flock protectors and am considering getting one.

Maiden voyage to the yard.....this one is clearly the leader we will call her Queenie! I was able to acquire a flock of Barred Rocks, Buff Orphingtons, he thought Jersey Giants but they might be Black Astralorps.........then I added three green Eggers from a local farm. All around a year old, one egg in the nest this morning......more to come!
