I have tried taking the scab off the last few days, cleaning and rebandaging. Still looks red and swollen. These are the two medicines I can get over the counter from our farm store locally. Which would be better?
There is Tetracycline that comes in a powdered for to add to water for 17.99$, for treating ALOT of chickens. I only have one to treat!
ALso penicillin g 100 ml bottle with 300 000 iu per ml $11.00, usually used for cattle and sheep she said
Neither seemed to ideal for dosing of one chicken. Any advice? Also I need to figure out withdrawl time for eggs etc
Thanks!!
