Medium scale brooder ideas

We will be raising about 400 broilers a month. I am looking for different brooder setup ideas. Would like to cut the time down on moving chicks to outside pens and cleaning the brooders. The system we have now is movable brooders but seems like there are other ways to cut back time . If you have any ideas please reply thanks

Mortality rates actually drop if you do successive broods on deep litter. (don't clean out litter between batches) That will save you both time and money, while decreasing your mortality. (win/win situation.)

Why is that?

Because they develop immunity from those who have gone before. Also a healthy flora builds up in the litter to keep pathogens at bay.
