You can see the sub-surface "skunk" stripe

These feet look like Ancona feet to me

This is Skunk. Skunk does not stink, any worse than normal, but you can clearly see why I call it Skunk. The patterning is obvious and until now, I was not sure if my Silver Apple Yards were in fact Apples or rather Welsh. I am pretty sure now that they are Apples based on this baby that they made. I know it is mixed with something else, hence the dark sub-patterning on the back under the yellow feathers. I'm just not sure what it would be mixed with to make the strip of black run all the way from rump to bill. The feet are consistent with that of my Ancona's; Flip & Flop. I have I think 17 breeds of duck in which this little baby could be a product of. I don't know all the ideal features of my ducks, so I cannot say what would/should belong to whom. I have:

    Ancona
    Magpie
    Rouen
    Cayuga
    Silver Apple Yard
    Fawn Runner
    Chocolate Muscovy
    Blue Muscovy
    (?) Purple and green Muscovy
    White Crested
    Crested Magpie
    Black Swedish
    Black Swedish Call
    Khaki Campbell
    Buff
    Blue Runner
    Peking
One that looks like a Rouen without the ringed neck... and with a brown head instead of green
One that looks like it could be a Cayuga with a Swedish breast

Im 100% sure you're right about that. I'm just not sure who the other parent could be. I know Apple's have the arrow, but i'm pretty sure they don't have a stripe down their entire back; just head and rump. This is the funnest part of having your ducks mixed up.... Guessing who they are.

Thank you!!! He/She is my favorite rite now. lol. I have a bad habit of popping an egg in the incubator as soon as I get one... Usually 1 or 2 eggs at a time. It is a bad habit to have cause we have eggs hatching nearly every day. lol. But sometimes we will go a week without a hatch so I end up being mommy for a little while which entitles me to sleep with a duckling in my hair. When I don't do that... it cries all night long. lol
