My 2nd batch of chicks is really my 2nd and 3rd batches combined. Theres 3 7 weeks olds and 3 6 week olds and last night was their first night in the coop with 8 10 week olds and 3 year old silkies! It went perfect they were all happy thins morning, and very minimal pecking! I'm so glad the transition went as well as it did. And i didn't add any supplemental heat!!

That's great! When my broody's babies were almost 2 weeks I let them mingle...I was scared to death...but most of the pecks were actually aimed at my broody when I removed all the barriers. Now the chicks are 7 weeks old and they are all just one happy flock. It's such a relief not to have to separate them.
