I recently invested in adjustable metal leg bands to outfit our hatched chicks with so i could keep up with their development, laying, health, etc. as they mature.
At what age can you put these metal bands on to ensure the bands don't become too tight as the chickens mature? I have a group of chicks that are 7-8 weeks old and are medium sized chickens (mixes between OEG, Silkies, Cochin bantams and Wyandottes).
Any advice would be helpful!
